My eighth month old baby was born in a vegatative state. Chromosome test came back fine and the neurologist has ran a ton of test and can t find anything that could have caused this. He says that the brain did not develope correctly. She has cerebular hypoplasia, infantile and tonic seizures and microcephaly. Her facial features including her ears are very small. Her weight and length are normal but her head is very small. We were told that it would be in our best interest if we did not try to have another baby but I want to know if I go through genetic counseling and if we decide to try again what are my chances of having a healthly baby. I also want to know the true progonosis of my eighth month old I sometimes get the feeling that the doctors are holding back information.
