Will I Conceive If I Have Abruptly Stopped My Birth Control Pills?
i missed several birth control pills after a car accident and took 2 for a few days in a row to catch up just ended up stopping all together. Im pretty sure i got my period but im not sure, now that i started a new pack im worried it wasnt and now i might be pregnant
If you have abruptly stopped your birth control pills you may be pregnant if you had been having unprotected sex & did not take any emergency contraceptive pill within 72 hours of unprotected intercourse either. You are suggested to take a pregnancy test with the first , morning , mid stream urine.
If report comes positive or negative, you should get clinically examined by an OBGYN, get per vaginal check up done to detect bulky uterus. Your gynae may ask you to do USG (Uterus and fallopian tube), to detect ectopic pregnancy and to determine gestational age of the fetus if pregnant. You will be treated and managed accordingly. In the meantime, avoid stress, take home made food & adequate rest. Stay away from addictions if any.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
