I smashed my index finger and the corner of my nail by the cuticle is black and blue and slightly coming off will I lose my nail since it damaged half of the moon. I been keeping it bandaged with a&d ointment it s been itching doesn t feel as numb should I continue wrapping it

don't bandage if you are not having pain
if the injury is not severe then nail will not fall but the discolouration will be there for at least 6 months and it grows with nail.
