Hi,I am Dr. Amitkumar Sharma (Internal Medicine Specialist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have seen the doctor with a sinus infection and was given an antibiotic Levofloacin to take for 5 days and today was the last day for me to take it. I have been blowing my nose quite a lot and the right side when I blew it started bleeding and I can feel something in my nostril that is hanging down and blocking my breathing. Should I worry about this or is this just a blood vessel that has swollen inside my nose?
Bleeding is not a know side effect of levaquin. Bleeding can be from inflammation in nostrils. some of the causes include infections or allergies . If you are not better you should consult your family physician or ENT specialist .
