Will Polymyxin B sulfate eye drops 2 can cause allergic reaction? What are the symptoms versus a real conjuntivities? I am allergic to Neosporin, Polysporin, triple antibiotic ointment, bacitracin ointments. All of this ointments gives me rash and irritations. Suffering from swelling eyelids and irritations 2 days after taking Polymyxin B eye drops. The symptoms got worst. Please advise. Joycetejada5@yahoo

The symptoms of allergic affection of eyes include itching and swelling. If you are having these symptoms following use of polymixin treatment is by stopping the use of the drug and use of antihistamines like cetrizine.
