Hi. My Granny who is almost 90 yrs old has been an Alzimers patient. She has been on Alzil 5 for a few years and her symptoms have been pretty much regulated. off late she has become increasingly 'hyper' and very temperamental, abusive and fearful. the doctor has now recommended that we start Quitipin 25mg. I would like to seek an opinion on whether this will indeed help her condition i.e. will she become a little more peaceful and not suffer? are there likely to be any side effects that we should be aware of given her age.
