Will A Lidocaine Patch Test Positive For Cocaine In A Urinalysis?
yes im trying to find out information on if using lidocaine patches will test me positive on a urian drug test for cocaine?? I have not used any cocaine but am doing a caseplane for my child and was in a bad car wreck and given lidocaine patches at the hospital for my back pain a week or so of using them I had a urian drug test and popped dirty for cocaine?

Oh, yes, it certainly can. So can several other commonly used medications such as antidepressants. They are chemically related but do not have the effects of cocaine. Getting a confirmatory test or a hair test (these are done with MASS SPECT CHROMATOGRAPHY... think CSI) will get the real answer.
