Will Air Purifiers Help Clear Constant Drainage In Throat Causing Cough?

have had constant drainage in back of my throat. it is mostly clear. have had for three months. even though i have one pet dog, the problem did not seem to really get bad until we took on a bulldog, we have since removed from home. i have been checked by docs, several times, vitals are good, no coughing, lungs are clear. i have ordered air purifier to arrive in a few days. history of severe allergies. send reply to YYYY@YYYY

Here you have positive family history of allergy..

So post nasal drip could be from allergic rhinitis..

Your work up done as follow...
-Posterior pharynx examination
-Rhinoscopy examination
-PNS x ray to rule out sinusistis
-CBC with AEC

If AEC High than Allegra LC like antiallergic medication started

Avoid smoking if having habit

One tsp turmeric powder in hot milk added along with one tsp honey and taken daily for soothing..
