Will Breathing At Altitude Be A Problem Due To Being On Mestinon For Myastenia Gravis?

Hi, I am 57, have Myasthenia Gravis and take 3 x 60m Mestinon tablets per day. I am in pretty good health apart from this. Have always been fit and very active, not so now. Recently I was diagnosed as 12 deficient and receive B12 injections. My question is about my breathing. I am going to Peru in 4 months and am now getting a little concerned about breathing at altitude. Am I likely to have problems? (I am not overweight)

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
I can understand your problem if you do not have iron deficiency, then you need not worry about this, and I would advise you to get the test done for haemoglobin, that will confirm the status of iron ( indices ) if this turns low then you have to have the iron supplement, then you wont be having any problem and you have already done the test and it is normal then nothing to worry, have nice day.
