Will Dent Due To Cleat On Knee Go Away On Its Own?
I play high school soccer and about a year ago I was cleated above the knee. At the time I had a horrible bruise the size of my fist. That went away after a couple monthes. But, now I have a dent in the area I was cleated. Is that normal and will it go away?
You seem to have developed a post trauma atrophic scar. I would like to tell you that some degree of irregular pigmentation is normal in the healed up area after any trauma to the skin. The pigmentation might revert to normal by itself or can be done by treatment . But in case you have developed a dent in the skin then it might not fill on its own. You might have to see a local dermatologist who can suggest you options like filler injections or a plastic surgery after assessment of the skin condition .
