Digestive enzymes help indirectly in IBS. However, Probiotics, such as, lactobacilli and high fiber diet, supplementary vitamins (particularly B12 and
Folic Acid in high doses) would be more effective.
At the same time, constant mental stress/
anxiety tends to aggravate IBS symptoms. If you do have stress and anxiety, a long-term course of a combination of anti-depressant + anti-anxiety drug will be of greatest benefit. In addition,
tinidazole instead of zenflox would be more beneficial.
Lastly,
androgens will certainly aggravate IBS. A very high protein diet with extra doses of
vitamins and minerals, would be equally beneficial.
Exercise, such as gymming, will help ease your symptoms. There is no restriction on going to gym.
