Hi,I am Neethu Vipin (Dietitian & Nutritionist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Will Eating A Daily Intake Of 1930 Calories From Snacks At Work Be Healthy For A Young Male Adult?
This is my plan to live off of the free snacks at my work. Will I be okay and healthy? I am a 23 yr old male, 5 10 . For breakfast, I will have 1 scoop of some meal replacement. These are the snacks available, and how much of each I will be eating for lunch: Item Number Fruit Snacks 1 MadeGood Bar 3 Granola Bar 2 Trail Mix 2 Chips 3 Nutrient Amount Calories 1930 Total Fat 71g Sat Fat 13.5g Sodium 1255mg Total Carb 277g Fiber 19g Total Sugar 114g Protein 35g
The calorie count seems to be ok. It would be a great diet if the fiber content is increased by consuming more amount of vegetables. The fruits might as well provide the same but they have high glycemic index and glycemic load which might be a disadvantage of a controlled diet.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
