Will Excessive Consumption Of Alcohol Lead To Complications?

i'm 42 yrs old and just had angeoplasty on March 3rd. the doctor said i can have 2 drinks per day, but i don't drink at home. however when i'm with my co-workers twice per quarter, we tend to drink 6 or more beers at a sitting. is this o.k. or am i pushing the limit? p.s. i excersise 3-4 times per week for 1 1/2 hrs and eat fairly healthy.

Hi There

The recommended consumption is not more than 60 ml per day you are taking much more than that and you are pushing the limits. Consumption of beer for a cardiac patient is not good as it significantly affects body metabolism. Rest continue or work out and healthy dietary habits.

Wish you good health
