Will Foot Be Plastered Or Bandaged After Screw Removal?
I had mid foot arthrodesis several years ago but now the screws seem to be pushing there way up through the top of my foot. I am having surgery this week to have them removed and the doctor will be putting some kind of cement or glue in the holes. will I have plaster or just a bandage after surgery

Hi Thanks for writing After going through your query, once there is union along with consolidation of bone ends as seen in X ray. The purpose of putting the screw is over and they may be removed if required as in your case. To me it looks you may not be plastered after screw removal, but your orthopaedic surgeon is the best person to have final word.
