Hi,I am Dr. Alexander H. Sheppe (Psychiatrist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My boyfriend had a head injury when he was younger and I was wondering if there are any things that might trigger him to. be depressed more than normal or if there are any things j should watch out for to know when to take him to the doctor because he isn't mentally the same.
In organic depressive disorder, we see temporal co-relation between injury and symptoms. If he did not get depression, after injury, then it is not due to head injury. May be now due to some stress or financial burden, he is in depression. Better to consult a psychiatrist for proper diagnosis and in case, you need further help, you can ask.
Thanks
