Will Hiccups Continue Even After Stopping Antibiotics?

I had one of my front teeth extracted and a post insert put it. The bone was too soft to attach a temp tooth. I am taking inflamation medicine and an antobiotic. Since the surgery, I get hiccups about every hour or two. It is hard to get rid of them, but when I do they come back in an hour or so. My question is: is it likely that they will continue, ever after I stop taking the medicines?? Thanks/steve

hi,
antibiotics generally don't cause hiccups, barring a few like Amoxicillin, Azithromycin where there are a few case reports.
Anti-inflammatory drugs are also known GERD which inform can cause Hiccups.
Even Anesthetic Agents can cause Hiccups.
Please get your Complete Blood Count, Kidney Function Tests, Liver Function Tests, Serum Electrolytes, Chest X-Ray.
The aim of our treatment would be to try and stop it completely...
What medications are you currently taking for the same? press share the details.
you can also do some home remedies like swallowing some ice, holding your breath for some time, pulling up your knees to the chest, leaning forward to comes your chest, having some lemon, etc.
