I have just been told by my midwife that I have a hemoglobin level of 146. I am almost 12 weeks pregnant, she says this is good but I have read that high levels of hemoglobin can cause stillbirth. Should I be worried. I am 42 and this is my first pregnancy.
Hi, you don't worry at all your Haemoglobin is ok not in dangerous range . very high haemoglobin cause blood viscosity and decrease blood flow through placenta but you do not worry at all.
