Hi!
welcome to HCM!
As with most fall injuries in children, her hip injury seems to be only a minor inconvenience as she can still play comfortably.. But if she has symptoms like bruising and swelling in the affected area, pain and tenderness, especially when pressing on her hip or moving her leg or
reduced range of motion in her hip joint or weakness in hip and leg.then you must get the child examined and may be X-ray done.
Rest. using hip as little as possible.
Ice. Compress. Use bandages or wraps to help support her hip and keep the swelling down.Elevate. This may be difficult with a hip , but if lying down, try putting pillows under pelvis to elevate hips.
hope this helps!
