Will Hormonal Cream Help Deal With IBS And Osteoporosis Pain, Nausea, Dizziness And Fatigue?

I am 46 and have had ibs for 9 years. I am experiencing hot flashes and other perimenopause symptoms. My ibs is unbearable with pain, nausea, dizziness, fatigue, headaches. Have tried colofac, buscopan, peppermint, Nilstat, many different supplements and endep. I also have severe osteoporosis and a very stressful life. Could some sort of natural hormonal cream help with my ibs pain and nausea? Thank you.

Hello and welcome to HCM,
The irritable bowel disease and post-menopausal symptoms separate problems.
They are not related to each other.
During menopause there is drop in level of estrogen in the body.
Fall in estrogen leads to symptoms of hot flushing, mood swings, dryness in vagina, thinning of the vulval skin.
These symptoms can be alleviated by using hormonal replacement therapy and topical estrogens for the local symptoms.
Aggravation of the irritable bowel disease has not to menopause.
IBS has a chronic course marked by waxing and waning of the gastrointestinal symptoms.
You need to consult your treating doctor for changing or varying the dose of drugs for IBS.
You need to consult your gynecologist for alleviating the symptoms of menopause.

Thanks and take care
