People with family history of Diabetes have a higher risk of developing diabetes. It is postulated that the risk is nearly 30% more. So the best way to handle the situation is by regulating your diet, losing weight and developing a healthy lifestyle. This will go a long way in postponing diabetes.
Hope i have answered your query
