Hi, I have gone through your question. Hypertensive disorders do have a recurrence in subsequent pregnancies in about 6 % of cases. It means that it do not recur in all pregnancies. The excessive bleeding or the post partum haemorrhage you had after the caesarean section can be due to any cause like atonicity of the uterus, or any injury during the caesarean section. I would suggest you to get regular antenatal check ups and blood pressure monitoring in next pregnancy, so that the hypertensive disorders can be detected early and treated in time. Hope you found the answer helpful. Wishing you good health.
