Will It Be Safe To Use Cortantyl 5mg For Pimples And Itchiness On Skin?

I 'M 78 YEARS old woman.I got this terrible skin sickness.I m very ichy all over my body.I got bid pimples and some liquid coming out.The doctor in Africa here prescripted Cortantyl 5mg and Azee 500. 4 weeks ago, I was heal the sickness was gone.Now it's come back again, very ichy with sore everywhere.Please help.The doctor here won't give the sickness name.

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern..

As per your complain it seems that you have allergic reaction to some unknown allergen and itchiness of skin and blisters filled with pus seems to be due to to it..

As you took Cortancyl 5 mg that contains a steroid Prednisolone it has led to suppressing of the symptoms and in case if you have got re-exposed to the allergen there is recurrence of allergy symptoms..

I would suggest you to consult an Allergist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and allergic testing can help in confirmation of cause and treatment can be planned accordingly..

As of now you can take anti allergics like Benadryl or Levocetrizine..
Do cool compresses over the itchy bumps..
You can also apply Calamine lotion for soothing the skin..
