Will It Cause Hormonal Imbalance If Birth Control Pills Are Not Taken As Instructed?
I tried diane 35 but does nt like the side effects like head ache and nausea so I did nt finished the pack. Now Im trying yaz pills but did nt want the side effects also,im irritable and hot tempered. will it cause hormaonal imbalance because im not always finishing the whole pack of pills.thanks
- Not finishing the contraceptive pills can cause your hormones to fluctuate. This can cause you to have mood swings. Additionally, it will not be a trustworthy form of contraception. If you're uncomfortable with Diane and Yaz, have your OBGYN prescribe and alternate medicine to see what works best for you.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Pranav Balakrishnan, General & Family Physician
