Will It Have Any Effect If Regestrone Is Taken During Pregnancy?
hi doctor. me and my galfrnd dry humped few weeks back. she has missed her periods this time and its more than 10 days. on the 10th day we did a preg test but it was negative. then her doctor prescribed hr regestrone tabs twice daily for 3 days. i ve heard the test may not be corrct and she may be preg. if so wat effect will regestrone have? she s taking the med now. can we do one more test now?

Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. If the urine pregnancy test was negative after missing10 days after expected periods, then chances of pregnancy are ruled out. However, delayed conception can be there.
Regestrone is norethisterone and can cause adverse effects like virilization of female fetus, if taken in early pregnancy.
