Will Low Dosage Of Prempro Cause Any Side Effects?

I have been using a very low dosage of prempro for a number of years. (don t have dosage with me but the lowest) I have been successful, taking it. I just reviewed the side affects, and I am beginning to have body aches (lower) groin area and also cramps on the side of each leg & ankles. It gets worse at night. The latest incident is numbness in my left foot (toes) and tingling in the buttock area. I did have L-4 problems with my back, however, not sure of the type of issues are related to the back. It seems to be a neurological issue. Your thoughts? I just turned 70, in good health and go to the gym regularly. I don t have a weigh problem.

Hello,

The symptoms you are experiencing is unlikely to be related to Prempro. It is more likely to be due to spinal issues. However, it is important to rule out with your primary provider to rule out any underlying venous thrombosis as cause for your symptoms since you are on Prempro.
