I am a 47 yr old female with hypothyrpoidism- I take 75mcg of synthroid every day- my iron and ferritin are low so I now take 2 iron pills daily-My cycles are usually very heavy and last 8-9 days This month it has been very light and lasting 10 days to date- My mom has been in the hospital for three weeks and I missed some of my sythroid last month taking it sporadically-
Hello, I read carefully your concern. Being a chronic disease, it happens to most of the patients to forget some doses. Do not worry, it is not going to cause any serious problem. Your TSH level will be a bit higher. But try not to skip doses and take it regularly. When you miss a dose you can take double dose the next day to prevent the raise of TSH.
