Will My Temple Pain And Swelling Due To Hitting Gets Better?
Hello, not last night but the night before I was standing on a stool to change a light fitting and I slipped and hit my temple on the corner of the wooden bed frame. I had immediate pain and help my head in my hands for probably about 2 hours. The pain was so severe I didn't sleep that night and took a few pain killers. I have had pain there since the fall and slight swelling. if I lightly tough the area it leaves me in worse pain for hours. You cannot really see anything, just wondering if you think the pain is bruising and will get better?
Hi and thanks for the qeury, from what you describe you should be getting better soon. There are actually no signs or symptoms of serious issues to worry from what you describe. You might need to increase the dose of the pain killer you are taking and a topical cream that can reduce the inflammation and pain. You would have to consult your primary care physician in case these measures persist for more than a week, or become really very unbearable or you notice aggravation. Thanks and kind regards
