hi,sir i m 33 year old women from india.as i m unmarried i feel bit tensed with the white patches on ma lower lip.when i gone for a consultation vit a dermatologist he suggested me to use placentrix gel.can i use t and be get completely cured?plse giv me a reply doctor

White patches involving lower lip that is lip vitiligo is a condition for which continuous long treatment is required.

Your dermatologist has adviced you to use placentrex gel. You may continue it. Additionally you may need tablet melanocyl and topical tacrolimus also.
You may discuss it with your treating dermatologist.

Vitiligo is such a condition which an be controlled but cannot be cured meaning repigmentation occurs in most of the cases but one cannot predict that the lesion would never come again.
