OBGYN 's  Response
Dear madam,I understand your concern. The abnormalities of foetus may be due to sometype of chromosomal abnormality or due to diabetes associated with ppregnancy called Gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM).chromosomal abnormalities are mostly related with age. and risk increases with age from 35 yrs onwards.GDM is associated with obesity, family history of diabetes and age with 35 yrs or more.GDM can also occur in less than 35 yrs with risk factors.so your age may or may not be the cause.but don't worry GDM can be diagnosed easily and controlled by taking appropriate treatment from early pregnancy.
