Will Pregnancy Show In Blood Test?
I had bloodwork done Friday and it came with elevated wbc and low potassium...my dr took a urine culture and it showed leukocytes in urine. he is sending me now for hcg qualiative and metabolic panel. I was at ER Friday and they did a transvaginal ultrasound. Wouldn't that have shown if I was pregnant?

The ultrasound is good tool to look for pregnancy but not 100 % in case of early pregnancy when the gestational sac is very small. Most probably there could be a confusing picture on ultrasound which made your doctor to conform pregnancy by urine pregnancy test.
Urine beta HCG could help to confirm the pregnancy with a very good accuracy.
