Will Smoking Marijuana Affect On My Heart Condition?
Im a 20 year old female. I was born with a heart murmer, narowed blood vessels and a leaky valve. 7 years ago i had open heart surgery. My cardioligist says im very healthy, allowed to exercise. my narowed blood vessel is fixed and my valve only still leaks a little bit, not enough for worry. I used to see him yearly but last time he told me that im so healthy i only need to visit him every 5 years. I smoke marijuana but dont want to continue doing so if it would be damaging to my valve or vesels. Is my risk of damaging my heatt higher than others?
