Dear sir i can understand your concern.
i am very sorry for your condition
Stem cells are a kind of embryonic cells present in placental blood for infants.
Now a days stem cells are harvested from Placental
cord blood and stored for use in future.
In adults the stem cells are present very deep in
bone marrow.
this stem cells can transform in to any type of cells in the body.
Now researchers are using this point to produce new Beta cells(cells that produce insulin in
pancreas ) by injecting this stem cells in to pancreas.
As explained above this stem cells are taken from your own bone marrow there in no need of
immunosuppression therapy,But in the case of cadaver transplant you need to be under immunosuppression therapy which will have lots of side effects.
There is a condition in which they will transfer both kidney along with pancreas which will give benefit of both in a single surgery,in this case its worth going for
immunosuppressive therapy because there are more benefits than risk
