Will Steroid Affects The Sugar Level?
HI I just took the steroid injection yesterday to help the baby s lungs develop faster and today I took the sugar blood test and it came out high. I m 30 weeks pregnant and they and when I was 20 I took the sugar blood test and it came out good. Do you think the steroid made my sugar levels high?

Steroids can cause transient increase in blood sugar level. You have to control your blood sugar by adjusting the insulin dose, because diabetes in pregnancy can cause many complications including difficult delivery.
