Hi, I was hospitalized back in May for c.diff and colitis cause by antibiotics. About a month ago I noticed I was losing quite a lot of hair when showering, I don't have bald spots but my hair has become very thing....my gastro Dr believes it is from being so sick and it will grow back, I was advised to use baby shampoo and avoid using products in my hair.
I am seeing a dermatologist in Oct for the hair loss and may receive steroid injections, I would like to know if these really help with hair loss? I have noticed that there is less hair in the drain now so I am hopeful the worst is over.
