Will Symptoms Of Endometriosis Reduce After Surgery?
I'm at 41/2 weeks. I got the surery due to Endometriosis in which I dealt with severe exhaustion, foggy-thinking, and pain all the time. The simplest things were daunting and difficult. 2 days ago I had pain in my vaginal area which left me feeling lightheaded and exhausted too. I guess it can be 3 questions because the pain part has lessened, but the others are there. 1) What's reasonable to expect regarding freedom from Endometriosis' symptoms, even if pain has stopped? 2) Should I be concerned with sudden internal pain that comes and goes> No fever involved. 3) When can I expect light-headed and especially exhausion to pass, and is it normal at 41/2 weeks?
You have failed to mention the type of surgery conducted, but the only surgical procedure with close to 95% relief from endometriosis is a hysterectomy.
I am assuming you have undergone another procedure and with such procedures the result cannot be predicted.
The internal pain may or may not return after a while if the procedure has not been successful.
The symptoms you are experiencing can be experienced at the given time, but should be reported to your treating doctor.
Hope this helps.
Best wishes.
