Will Taking IPill After Having Sex Prevent Pregnancy?
Hi dr.m so much worried abt my self.i had sex with my frnd on17feb at arpund 6-7pm..my period date was 2feb...n evry month i get my period 4-5days erlier to my actual date...bt the thing is dat...after having sex...i took i pil on 20..at around 1o clok...dat mins bfor 72hrs as priscirbed in pill...my frnds sd he didnt ejaculate in me...bt told me to take pil for safer side...tody is26feb...n still i didnot get my unnaural bleeding...d day whn i had was under safe days or not..coz fertile days are 13 - 16...so m worried do i cum under frtile day which result in faulur or pill n conclude in pregency..my fmly vil kill me...if i got pregnent...coz having sex was against my wish n will..m so much worried coz d boy is vanished frm my life after using me plz helpme dr..plz reply on my mail if possible

Please do not worry.
If your period started on feb 2 the fertile days are from 13-21 february. So you did have sex in the fertile period.
However the chance of pregnancy after a single episode of sex is low. If ejaculation was outside the chances are zero. Also you have taken i pill. This also offers protection.
I pill also delays periods. So the delay may be due to pregnancy or I pill.
The best option that you have now is to get a urine pregnancy test using the first morning sample of urine 3 weeks after the date of sex. If it is negative, there is no worry and there is no pregnancy.
I understand your situation. I hope that you will realize now the predicament a female may land into. Just think that this was a very good lesson that you learnt and it wills save you in future from such episodes. In my experience, in whatever ways our family may react to issues, they are the ones that always stand by us in times of turmoil. So please believe in your near and dear ones.
