Hello! Thank you for your question on HCM! I understand your concern ! Headache is a very common symptom after a head trauma or a concussion. It is caused by a temporary dysfunction of the brain and the brain vessels. So I would recommend rest for some days and avoid a possible second head trauma , which can cause serious damage to the brain. Pain killers will be helpful for some days. If the headache aggravates, or other symptoms like nausea and vomiting, gait disturbance, confusion or seizures or numbness in the limbs I would recommend to go to the emergency room and have a brain CT scan to exclude a possible subdural hemorrhage .
