NAFLD means you have fat deposited in excess in your liver causing an inflammatory process due which there is ongoing damage of hapatocytes(the liver cells) and this ongoing damage is represented by raised ALT plus the burning sensation in your stomach is due to dyspepsia( due to acid peptic disease or GERD). the good thing is that your LFTs(alt) have already significantly improved and you need to bring it down to less then 50. Diet and life style habits are central to the treatment of NAFLD and DYSPEPSIA. the medications you are currently using are hepatic tonics which means they reduce hepatic damage. continue with them. Fast food like pizza, burgers etc, all foods containing high fat content( like karai, paratas, yellow of eggs) and foods with high glyceamic index like white wheat bread, white rice donuts etc cause both NAFLD and Dyspepsia. If you calculate your BMI it is around 27 which is slightly higher than the normal range. therefore it is important for you to recognise that a healthy diet and an active lifestyle will address both your issues. The diet which is highly recommended for you includes green vegetables, fresh fruits, yogurt, meat(BBQ type) up to 100gm a day, and one table spoon of husk in one glass of water in the morning. In addition you have to walk briskly for 30 mins daily which increases you gut motility that leads to decrease dyspepsia and it is very important to stop taking caffeinated drinks and quit smoking.
