Will Taking Telmisartan And Prolomet Cause Raise In BP(190/120)?

Hi I was taking Telmisartan40 & Prolomet xl50 for last 7-8months and was feeling normal...Had encountered a Bp hike (190/120) 8months before. I stopped taking the above meds for 10days and feel pressure building up. I again started taking Prolomet xl50 but with Telmisartan20 instead of 40....& feel better.
Is anything wrong in these drugs power combinations ?

Thanks for contacting HCM. Dear Sourav, you have not mentioned the BP values after you have started telmisartan 20 instead of 40. If your BP readings are within normal limits with 20 mg, then you may continue with it, but if BP readings are high you need to take 40 mg tablets. Telmisartan and prolomet xl 50 is a good combination and works well. Regards
