Will Taking Susten And Regestrone Cause Any Problems In Future?

hi i am nidhi i started my tratment from gynic doc they give me susten 200 for putting into vegina for 15 days because of this my period missed then doc gave me regestrone 5 mg for 5 days 2 times daily to start my period should i take this or is there any side effects or not in future it will affect my conciving or not

Hi,

Susten and Regesterone are similar to female hormone,progesterone synthesized inside the body. Hence, you can use the drug safely. Only a 5 day course of drugs can cause no serious side effects. You can take the drug continuously for 5 days.

This drug will not affect your ability to conceive in the future and hence do not worry. After stopping the drug, you can expect the withdrawal bleeding in 5 to 7 days.
