Hi..
Can understand your concern..
As per your complain after 5 days if the healing has started properly then you cannot see any red blood clot and what is present is the granulation tissue which is formed when the healing process is initiated via blood clot forming cells and tissues and therefore attains normal anatomy of the jaw..
If you have dislodged the white granulation tissue there must be only raw and empty extraction socket left behind and you should immediately consult your
dentist and get a clinical evaluation done and in case if the healing tissue is dislodged there are will be formation of a painful condition known as
DRY SOCKET..
In case of dislodged healing tissue irrigation of the socket with
hydrogen peroxide,
betadine and saline followed by placement of
Zinc oxide eugenol dressing is done to initiate healing along with antibiotics and painkillers to avoid infection and pain..
You should strictly avoid
smoking as it delays healing and also loosening of clot occurs due to formation of negative pressure in mouth while sucking the cigerattee..
Hope this information helps..
