my sister is 40 years old and last year gave birth to her baby boy with ceasarion section along with tubectomy(both the fallopian tubes were cut) but he died within 2 days of the birth. she already has 2 daughter , one of 12 years and other 8 years . now she wants to have another baby for which she has choosen ivf technique . on 8th of march she was implanted an an fertilised embryo but with a donor egg. i want to know whether the child will have genetical structure as of my sister or not??
The simple answer is yes the baby will have genes from your sister.
IVF is basically same procedure that occur when eggs from mother and sperm from father combines and form embryo. The only difference here in IVF is the same procedure but it is carried out in the laboratory and not in the body. So there is no question of change in genetics if eggs and sperm are used from parents.
I hope this will help you. Give your valuable feedback.
