Will The Numbness And Lump On The Face Go Away Caused During A Car Wreck?

I was in a car accident 3 weeks ago(struck from behind while at a stop light - other driver going about 45mph) and hit the left side of my face on the driver s side window. I still have a lump, a little bigger than a quarter on my cheek and the skin is numb to touch it but there is pain underneath the skin. Will this go away soon?

could be nerve damage or maxillay fracture,The amount of recovery you will have depends on how badly you injured the nerve,It can take several weeks for a nerve to heel. Regardless, you should see a doctor and make sure you havent fractured your maxilla (cheek bone), which could be pressing on the nerve and causing further irreversible damage.
