Will The Purple Marks Under My Eye From The Blepharoplasty Surgery And Steroid Injections Eventually Go Away?

After lower lid blepharoplasty I developed an infection underneath my left eye which was thought to be an allergic reaction. It was only two weeks later that I was referred to an ophthalmologist who determined that it was an infection. Two small incisions were made to drain the pus and the incisions were cauterized. I was given a steroid injection in that area at the same time. Two weeks later at the follow-up visit to the ophthalmologist the small red/ purple bruising which had persisted for the seven weeks since the operation were still visible so I was given some more steroid injections to reduce the inflammation and some bumps underneath the eye. Will these purple marks ever go away?
