Will The Swallowed Staple Pin Be Passed By Stool?
Hi Doctor, I have swallowed a staple pin yesterday at around 10:35 am. I went to the Hospial. In first xray the staple pin was above the intestine. After another 6 hours 2nd xray was taken and is in my bowel. Please advise if this will be passed by stool. Thanks & Regards Shaik Alavudeen

Noted the history Of ingestion of stapler pin which on X-ray has moved down.
If the pin is folded, it will certainly move down and pass into stool.
Do not worry.
Have normal diet.
Watch for any unusual pain abdomen.
Follow the pin by X-ray tomorrow.
Stop worrying as the intestines secrete and forms a mucus plug around it.
