Will There Be Any Side Effects Of Using Ventolin And Becotide Asthma Over Cerazette?
I recently started on Cerazette having not been on any type of contraceptive pill before. I have 3 questions: 1. Will taking Ventolin and Becotide asthma medications affect the protection given by Cerazette? (taken everyday at same time) 2. I assume paracetemol won't affect Cerazette but thought i'd check... 3. The first couple of weeks of taking Cerazette were great, no side effects at all but now I have continuous light bleeding - have had for about 4 weeks. This doesn't get heavier and turn into a full-on period but it doesn't stop either. Is this normal as there's no mention of this happening in the information which came with the drugs? I'm not due back at the doctors' surgery for another 6 weeks.
Cerazette has no or minimal drug interaction with asthmatic drugs. There are very less evidence for drug interactions with asthmatic drugs, though other drugs do. The pill itself has its own side effects. If you are taking the tablets regularly and at the same time then there is no need to worry. During the initial periods you might experience spotting or bleeding. If it increases or continues then consult your doctor once.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
