Will There Be Any Unseen Problems If Alolopathic And Ayurvedic Were To Be Consumed Together?
hallo, after a long gap i got conceived with helo of aYURVEDIC DOCTOR, i m 32 Yrs now and has a daughter. presently i m taking medicines as per my gynaec last 4 mths. however my ayurvedic doc has prescribed TORCHNILL capsule twice daily. i want to know are there any interference by taking both alolopathic and ayurvedic medicines. which medicine should i continue? pl guide..
** 1. TORCHNIL in Ayurveda is given for viral infection, recurrent pregnancy loss due to .TORCH Infection, Antiphospholipid syndrome and unknown etiology, and since you are under gyanecologist supervision for last 4 months and you conceived after a LONG GAP which means there is some bad Obstetric history in your case, thus prior to taking TORCHNIL, talk with your gynecologist and Ayurveda Doctor regarding any drug-drug interactions.
2. TORCHNIL is to be taken 2-3 months before conception, and since nothing is told about the same [whether planning to get pregnant in coming months] thus cannot comment on the subject.
PS. Torchnil is an Ayurvedic product. Its safety and efficacy have not been tested through internationally accepted, scientifically validated clinical trials on animals and humans. Hence, I am unable to give any opinion except to say that many herbal preparations not only have adverse interactions with allopathic medicines but may have unknown side effects.
