Will There Be Bleeding During First Time Sex?

Hello
Last week I did sex for the first time with my girlfriend, she claims that it was first sex even for her. I found very difficult to seduce her and hardly insert my penis into her vegina. But no blood appear. Is it normal? I would be grateful for your answer.

Hello and welcome to HCM,
Rupture of hymen usually causes bleeding.
The hymen is a membrane like structure with varying degree of elasticity.
In some cases it is lax and thus does not rupture easily.
In some cases it is quite stiff and does not rupture easily.
Thus, it is not necessary that the hymen will not rupture on the first sexual encounter.
Inability to insert the penis is due to tone of the vaginal musculature.
The tone is high initially and it decreases over a period of time with repeated sexual acts.
