Will Yoga (suryanamaskar) At 5th Week Of Pregnancy Suggested?
I am in my 5th week of pregnancy and I am overweight if about 25-28 pounds. Will suryanamaskar help me to reduce some weight during my first trimester? I practiced it for about 3 weeks before pregnancy and I do about 15-25 sets everyday. How many sets are preferred to loose weight during my first trimester. Please guide as I am very much worried about my weight.
Surya namaskar is a very healthy form of exercise, but it is better to refrain from it a little later in pregnancy. There are other forms of yoga which can be very helpful, surya namaskar and its steps can be a little stressful for the growing fetus and thus I would advice against it.
