Within How Many Hours/ Days Of Stopping Duphaston Will My Periods Start?

Within how many hours/ days of stopping duphaston will my periods start? I took from day 16 to day 25 th...today is my 28 th day... And period has not started... My periods are regular...i am trying to conceive for the last 6 months and my doc prescribed duphastion last month. Pl advice.

The duration of onset of periods after stopping the Duphaston may vary from person to person and cycle to cycle. Sometimes it may take around 7 to 10 days for the onset of withdrawal bleeding after stopping the tablets.

To improve the chances of conception, with your doctor's advice you can follow steps like:

-Ovulation induction with tablets from 2nd or 3rd day of the periods.
-Follicular study by ultrasound from 11th day of the cycle.
-Planning unprotected intercourse around the time of ovulation.
-Can take the support of progesterone tablets in the second half of the cycle.
